The affordable housing lottery has launched for 779 Flatbush Avenue, a seven-story mixed-use building in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Designed by Eric Safyan Architect and developed by 779 Flatbush Propco LLC, the structure yields 27 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are six units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $80,572 to $165,230.
Amenities include pet-friendly policies, an elevator, bike storage lockers, gym, recreation room, package lockers, and terraces including a rooftop terrace. Residences come with washers and dryers, intercoms, and name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops, and finishes. Tenants are responsible for electricity, include stove, heat, and hot water.
At 130 percent of the AMI, there are six one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,350 for incomes ranging from $80,572 to $165,230.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than March 27, 2024.
