GDS Development and Sweden-based property owner Corem have announced a 15-year lease with the restaurant group JKS Restaurants for a new 7,900-square-foot restaurant at 1245 Broadway, a 23-story commercial building in NoMad, Manhattan.

Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, 1245 Broadway is a class-A office building that spans 200,000 square feet and has achieved LEED Gold certification. The façade is composed of architectural cast-in-place concrete and large triple-glazed windows, and the building contains a private club, touchless technology, and modern air filtration systems.

1245 Broadway has become the headquarters for several media and entertainment companies, with tenants including A24 Films and 101 Studios. It is located a short walk from Penn Station, which offers easy transit to a variety of locations in and around the New York City metropolitan area.

I was in Harrod’s in London today and learned my favorite and most amazing Indian restaurant, Gymkhana, will open at 1245 Broadway in Feb 2025. Can’t wait!
