BRP Companies was joined by project partners and public officials to celebrate the grand opening of phase I of The Arboretum, a residential community at 510 Horseblock Road in Farmingville, Long Island. The property was designed by Niles Bolton Associates and spans 494,000 square feet.
The Arboretum yields 292 units, split between two and three-bedroom townhomes, lofts, two-bedroom apartments, and three-bedroom single family homes. Notably, 30 units are reserved for workforce housing.
Residents will have access to 7,500 square feet of shared amenity spaces, including a fitness center, pool, tennis/pickleball and bocce courts, a putting green, and a playground. The property also features a seven-acre public park, and sits on a 62-acre plot of land.
“The Brookhaven IDA is proud to have played a role in the Arboretum at Farmingville project,” said Frederick C. Braun III, Brookhaven IDA chairman. “The mix of housing options, proximity to the LIE and a brand-new public park makes this a beautiful addition to the Farmingville community.”
