Orion Astoria, a new residential development at 25-88 38th Street in Astoria, Queens, has officially completed construction and recently launched sales. The building was developed by Konstandinos “Gus” Vorillas, Thomas Ballis, and Chris Giannikouros. It was designed by Harriet Nikakis of Astoria-based HCN Architects.

The property boasts seven condominiums, which are offered in one- and two-bedroom configurations. Every unit offers floor-to-ceiling windows and private outdoor space. Notably, the first-floor unit features a 1,000-square-foot private backyard, and the penthouse unit is a two-bedroom duplex. Amenities include keyless latch entry system and a landscaped roof deck.

“Orion, situated in the coveted heart of Astoria, is the perfect mix of upscale modernity and a sense of community, as you get the design sensibility of a larger building, but the privacy of a boutique residence,” said Patrick W. Smith, whose team at The Corcoran Group is the exclusive agent for the development. “The developers and HCN Architects have done an amazing job creating new homes that fit seamlessly into the streetscape.”

The six one-bedroom homes at Orion Astoria start at $695,000 and the duplex penthouse with two private terraces is priced at $1.125 million.

Located in central Astoria, the project is close to shops, parks, restaurants, and public transit, including the N, W, M, and R subway lines and several bus routes.

  1. That’s a fancy name for such a small project.

  2. Does a building with 7 units need a name?

Built to suit the scenery on the street, it was not built to suit the view of the opposite building: Thanks.
