Permits have been filed for a 22-story mixed-use building at 141 3rd Street in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Located between Bond Street and Third Avenue, the lot is closest to the Carroll Street subway station, serviced by the F and G trains. Monadnock Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 225-foot-tall development will yield 266,018 square feet, with 231,445 square feet designated for residential space and 34,573 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 301 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 768 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a 26-foot-long rear yard and 45 enclosed parking spaces.

Dattner Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  2. Gowanus area new development means more high price housing units, condos,market rate, and the so called ‘affordable’ units will be close to market rate, this is the mayor city of yes out look
