Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 31-11 28th Road in Astoria, Queens. Located between 31st Street and 33rd Street, the lot is three blocks from the Broadway subway station, serviced by the N and W trains. Christopher Fillas of Penta Restoration Corp. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 50-foot-tall development will yield 5,854 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 731 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and four open parking spaces.
Joseph Sultana of JLS Designs is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
