951 Bedford Avenue in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn via NYC Housing Connect

The affordable housing lottery has launched for 951 Bedford Avenue, an eight-story mixed-use building in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Designed by S. Wieder Architect and developed by Jacob Hirsch of JIH Builders Group LLC, the structure yields 20 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are six units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $120,000 to $218,010.

Residences come equipped with hardwood floors and air conditioning. Tenants is responsible for electricity including electric heat. Gas for cooking and hot water are included with the rent.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are six two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,500 for incomes ranging from $120,000 to $218,010.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than October 1, 2024.
