Permits have been filed for a vertical enlargement and interior renovation of existing three-story building at 103 India Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Located between Franklin Street and Manhattan Avenue, the lot is closest to the Greenpoint Avenue subway station, serviced by the G train. Riad Sukkarieh under the 103 India LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 45-foot-tall development will yield 4,997 square feet, with 4,566 square feet designated for residential space and 431 square feet for community facility space. The building will have seven residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 652 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 40-foot-long rear yard, but no accessory parking.
Tom Winter Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the project calls for an expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
