Permits have been filed to horizontally expand a three-story residential building at 1126 Ward Avenue in Soundview, The Bronx. Located between Watson Avenue and Westchester Avenue, the lot is near the Elder Avenue subway station, served by the 6 train. Aron Stark of MSH Equities LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 24-foot-tall development will yield 3,490 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 436 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a basement, a 24-foot-long rear yard, and two open parking spaces.
Nikolai Katz Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will not be needed as the project calls for an expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
