New permits have been filed for a four-story commercial building at 29 Wythe Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between North 13th and North 14th Streets, the lot is closest to the Bedford Avenue subway station, served by the L train. Michael Weitzman of Spearhead Contracting is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 56,170 square feet designated for commercial space, and is planned to be occupied by a fitness center and a restaurant. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, 194 enclosed parking spaces, and three loading berths. Previous permits called for a seven-story building with office space and multiple terraces.
Jeremiah Zuidema of Archimaera Architecture is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

The picture does not match the description to house, “…194 enclosed parking spaces, and three loading berths, etc…” On the Archimaera website, the giant vacant lot is the correct area.
