Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 868 East 156th Street in Woodstock, The Bronx. Located between Prospect Avenue and Dawson Street, the lot is near the Prospect Avenue subway station, served by the 2 and 5 trains. Hershy Silberstein of Blue Shine Builders Inc. DBA Blue Sky is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 19,919 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 29 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 686 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and nine open parking spaces.
Boaz M. Golani Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
