Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 109 Legion Street in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Located between Sutter Avenue and Pitkin Avenue, the lot is near the Rockaway Avenue subway station, served by the 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains. Lazar Katz of Sutter Residence LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 51-foot-tall development will yield 9,368 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 14 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 669 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a penthouse and seven open parking spaces.
Leandro Nils Dickson Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
