Construction is nearing completion on 33-33 Prince Street, a four-story mixed-use building in Flushing, Queens. Designed by My Architect PC for Prince Real Estate LLC, the 55-foot-tall structure will yield 16,403 square feet of commercial and manufacturing space, according to zoning diagrams. The building will also contain a cellar level and a 20-foot-wide rear yard above the first level. The property is located on an interior lot between 33rd Avenue to the north and 35th Avenue to the south.
The structure’s exterior is almost fully complete with the exception of the first story, which is still awaiting its flooring behind an assembly of wooden construction fencing. The façade above is composed of a reflective glass curtain wall with a section of gray metal paneling. The southern lot line wall is clad in red brick, and a long canopy protrudes over the main entrance. The northern corner features a tall garage door entrance for the enclosed parking garage for 13 vehicles. YIMBY expects work to wrap up on the ground floor in the coming months.
The nearest subway from the development is the 7 train at the Flushing-Main Street station to the south along Roosevelt Avenue.
YIMBY predicts 33-33 Prince Street will finish up construction by this summer.
