Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 1871 Amsterdam Avenue in Harlem, Manhattan. Located between West 152nd Street and West 153rd Street, the lot is near the 155th Street subway station, served by the A and C trains. Javier Martinez of Artifact is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 73-foot-tall development will yield 15,322 square feet, with 14,826 square feet designated for residential space and 496 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 20 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 741 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
David Jimenez, RA is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
