Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 221 Wythe Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between North 3rd Street and Metropolitan Avenue, the lot is near the Bedford Avenue subway station, served by the L train. Yoel Schwimmer of Bona LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 24,631 square feet, with 19,646 square feet designated for residential space and 4,985 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 28 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 701 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and four enclosed parking spaces.

Naresh Mahangu of NY Building Associates is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed last month for the one-story vacant diner on the property. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
