100 South 9th Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn via NYC Housing Connect

The affordable housing lottery has launched for 100 South 9th Street, six-story residential building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Archimaera Architecture, the structure yields 45 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 15 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $109,132 to $227,500.

Amenities include a dog park, covered parking, bike storage lockers, a shared laundry room, gym, virtual doorman, and a rooftop terrace. Residences are equipped with dishwashers, air conditioning, energy-efficient appliances, and name-brand kitchen countertops and finishes. Tenants are responsible for electricity, which includes stove, heat, and hot water.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are three studios with a monthly rent of $2,999 for incomes ranging from $109,132 to $168,480; four one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,399 for incomes ranging from $125,040 to $189,540; and eight two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $4,244 for incomes ranging from $158,846 to $227,500.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than June 6, 2025.

    What they “saved” is a mockery of the historic church building. Pathetic…

    Google Earth still shows the original church. Although it’s too bad the central section of the facade is lost, I think the outcome is striking.
