Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 1143 Hoe Avenue in Crotona Park East, The Bronx. Located between East 167th Street and Home Street, the lot is near the Simpson Street subway station, served by the 2 and 5 trains. Yonah Grunhut of Grun Group LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 65-foot-tall development will yield 29,737 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 47 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 632 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a 20-foot-long rear yard.
Nikolai Katz Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
