Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 1519 57th Street in Borough Park, Brooklyn. Located between 56th Street and 57th Street, the lot is two blocks from the 55th Street subway station, served by the D train. Eliezer Chajmovicz is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 54-foot-tall development will yield 7,926 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have ten residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 792 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a 32-foot-long rear yard.
Asher Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed this month for the single-story building on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
