The affordable housing lottery has launched for 37-42 30th Street, an eight-story mixed-use building in Astoria, Queens. Designed by Mei Architect and developed by Jack Fang of FH 2Bro Builder Corp., the structure yields 63 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 19 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $107,109 to $227,500.
Amenities include an outdoor terrace, rooftop terrace, storage, green space, elevator, bike storage lockers, and gym. Residences are equipped with intercoms, washers and dryers, air conditioning, patios or balconies, energy-efficient appliances, and name-brand kitchen countertops and finishes.
At 130 percent of the AMI, there are nine one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,850 for incomes ranging from $107,109 to $189,540; and 10 two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,200 for incomes ranging from $124,218 to $227,500.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than July 8, 2025.
