Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 786 Liberty Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn. Located between Berriman Street and Msgr. John T. Peyton Avenue, the lot is near the Shepherd Avenue subway station, served by the C train. David Goldberger is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 80-foot-tall development will yield 36,037 square feet, with 35,508 square feet designated for residential space and 529 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 54 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 657 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar but no accessory parking.

Amr Ouda of Jay Architect & Engineering is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
