Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 2100 Union Street in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Located between Sutter and Blake Avenues, the lot is steps from the Sutter Avenue-Rutland Road subway station, served by the 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains. David Goldberger is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 41,523 square feet, with 37,039 square feet designated for residential space, 4,132 square feet for commercial space, and 351 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 51 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 726 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a 38-foot-long rear yard and eight enclosed parking spaces.
Amr Ouda of Jay Architect & Engineering is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
