This is a major change for Asbury Park— $8 million apartments. This plot has sat empty for decades, the result of urban renew demolition and failed redevelopment. I recall walking up from Ocean Grove in the 1990s and promptly falling through the rotten boardwalk. At that time, no ventured onto it or the beach and all the buildings along it were vacant.
