Permits have been filed for a ten-story mixed-use building at 1490 McDonald Avenue in Mapleton, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of Avenue M and McDonald Avenue, the lot is near the Avenue N subway station, served by the F train. Mayer Gottlieb of Bronx Gardens Rehabilitation LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 148-foot-tall development will yield 133,959 square feet, with 78,140 square feet designated for community facility space and 55,819 square feet for commercial office space. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and 150 enclosed parking spaces.
Damir Sehic of C3D Architecture PLLC is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in 2024. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
