Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 508 Bolton Avenue in Soundview, The Bronx. Located between Lacombe Avenue and Randall Avenue, the lot is near the Parkchester Avenue subway station, served by the 6 train. Shimon Neuman of Madison Tower LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 45-foot-tall development will yield 7,468 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have ten residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 745 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a basement but no accessory parking.

Leandro Nils Dickson Architect, LLC is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. The closest station might be the 6 in Parkchester, but it’s definitely nowhere near it.

It isn’t even that close to the ferry.

    • Yes, this is almost a mile and half from the Parkchester 6 train station. It is a very quick bus ride though, about 10 minutes. Same to the ferry.

  2. This location would still be a slog even if a Throgs Neck subway existed.

  3. This lot has been encroached for maybe more than 40 years. If you look at the satellite images. The closest subway station would be parkchester if you take the Bx39 bus on White Plains Road heading north. Other than that it’s a quiet neighborhood in the 43rd precinct area with schools within walking distance. One at the corner of Lacombe and another on the corner of Randall avenue. Former Stevenson HS is on Lafayette & Pugsley avenues. Ferry access to Manhattan at the end of Soundview avenue if you take the Bx39 bus south to Soundview Park.
