Henry Hall Sells For $129 Million At 515 West 38th Street In Hudson Yards, Manhattan

Amstar Group LLC has acquired Henry Hall, a 33-story, 225-unit tower at 515 West 38th Street in Hudson Yards, Manhattan. JLL Capital Markets represented the seller, a joint venture of Shorenstein Investment Advisers and Dreamscape Companies, in the $129 million transaction. JLL also advised the buyer in securing $71 million in acquisition financing through U.S. Bank. The property is located between Tenth and Eleventh Avenues.

Completed in 2017, the property offers a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments along with approximately 12,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Henry Hall was designed by interior designer Ken Fulk and features a boutique, hotel-inspired concept within the rapidly growing Hudson Yards district.

Amenities at the building include a terrace with views of the Hudson River and the Empire State Building, a fitness center, and a music-themed “Jam Room” equipped with professional recording equipment. The property also benefits from a 421-a (1-15) tax abatement that runs through 2039.

Transit nearby 515 West 38th Street includes the 7 train at the 34th Street–Hudson Yards station, as well as the A, C, and E trains at 34th Street–Penn Station.

  4. Buildings of this size should be popping up all over the city near subway stations.

  5. hopefully they reopen the restaurant soon.

  6. Wonderfully designed restaurant and lobby. Warm and inviting with a nod to old New York style. Nice to see interiors that are warm and inviting.

  7. Love the neo art deco nods in the design.
