Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 37 South 3rd Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between Kent Avenue and Wythe Avenue, the lot is near the Bedford Avenue subway station, served by the L train. Harel Edery of Edery Global, Inc. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 85-foot-tall development will yield 25,789 square feet, with 25,508 square feet designated for residential space and 281 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 18 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,417 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 31-foot-long rear yard.
Shmuel Wieder is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed this month for the four-story structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
