Permits have been filed for a 12-story mixed-use building at 566 Grand Avenue in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Located between Dean Street and Bergen Street, the lot is near the Franklin Avenue subway station, served by the C train. Josef Goodman of Haussmann Development LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 123-foot-tall development will yield 85,651 square feet, with 79,886 square feet designated for residential space and 5,764 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 99 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 806 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and seven open parking spaces.
David Gross of GF55 Partners is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
