New renderings have been revealed for 536 West 28th Street, a 12-story residential building in West Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by GE-T Architecture Workshop and developed by Silvera Properties, the structure will yield 60 condominium units. The through-lot property is located between West 27th and 28th Streets and Tenth and Eleventh Avenues.
The above rendering of the northern elevation facing West 28th Street previews a distinctive design with a grid of protruding floor-to-ceiling windows surrounded by a light gray façade. The western end will feature a contrasting fenestration with a staggered pattern of recessed ribbon windows. A setback will be located at the tenth floor.
The below rendering highlights the landscaped central courtyard and provides greater detail of the façade, which appears to be composed of brick.

The property is currently occupied by a three-story commercial building with frontages on both West 27th and 28th Streets. Demolition permits were filed in December 2024.

Residential amenities will include a lobby, fitness center, wellness area with a sauna, lounge with adjacent garden access, and a game room in the cellar level.
The nearest subway from the development is the 7 train at 34th Street–Hudson Yards station to the north at Bella Abzug Park. The High Line is also accessible nearby via stairs at the eastern end of the block along West 28th Street.
A construction timeline for 536 West 28th Street has yet to be announced.
