Jacob Scherman, doing business as an anonymous LLC, has filed applications for a four-story, four-unit residential building at 57 Himrod Street in central Bushwick. That is located three blocks from the Kosciuszko Street stop on the J train. The building will measure 4,000 square feet, which means full-floor units will average a relatively spacious 1,000 square feet apiece; the fourth-floor unit will also feature a fifth-floor penthouse. Woody Chen’s Queens-based Infocus Design & Planning is the applicant of record, and an existing two-story townhouse must first be demolished.
