Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 142-20 Sanford Avenue, in Flushing, Queens. The site is five blocks from the Main Street subway station, end of the line for 7 trains, and four blocks from the LIRR train station. ZT Sanford Realty is listed as behind the applications.
The 80-foot tall structure will yield 17,690 square feet, with 2,130 square feet dedicated to an ambulatory facility, and 11,120 square feet for residential use. 14 apartments will be created, averaging 794 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Residents will have a lobby, rooftop recreation terrace, eight bicycle parking spaces and accessory storage within the cellar.
Michael Kang Architect is responsible for the design.
The lot is vacant, currently functioning as a parking lot. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
