S. Wieder Architect has released renderings of a new residential development at 2175 Bergen Street in Brooklyn, New York. Located in the cross-hairs of the Crown Heights and Brownsville neighborhoods, the building will replace a two-story structure, and a neighboring lot.
The new structure will comprise just under 40,000 square feet and top-off at seven stories. In addition to 1,100 square feet of ground floor retail, the property will contain 41 apartments or about 28,000 square feet of residential area. At 684 square feet apiece, rentals are most likely.
Neither the architect, nor Chess Properties, the developer of the building, have revealed residential amenities, estimated duration of construction, or an anticipated date of completion.
