Sales Launch at 108 Chambers Street, in Tribeca

Sales have launched at 108 Chambers Street, a ground-up condominium project in Tribeca. Designed by Woods Bagot Architects and developed by Greystone Development, the building will contain eight full-floor residences and one- to three- bedroom homes that begin at $2.95 million. Ryan Serhant of The Serhant Team is in charge of sales and marketing for the reinforced concrete structure, which is now almost completely enclosed. The site will yield about 3,451 square feet of retail space that will occupy the first two floors and around 11,300 square feet of residential space above.

The project sits on a narrow 1,963-square-foot lot along Church Street between Chambers Street and Warren Street. Condominiums will begin on the third floor. The building will feature setbacks on the north side at the seventh floor and at the ninth floor on the eastern elevation. These will make way for landscaped outdoor terraces that overlook the street and surrounding skyline. The ninth floor will house a duplex that culminates in a double-height tenth floor space. In between and surrounding each of the floor-to-ceiling glass panels are dark-colored metallic frames that form a staggered and repetitive geometric pattern across the wide eastern flank and narrow northern face. When struck by the morning sun, these angular appointments create an interesting play of light and shadows. Each frame is diagonally oriented against the property line and repeats itself across each casement on every level.

The closest subways are the A, C, E, 1, 2, and 3 at the corner of Church Street and West Broadway; the J, R, W, Z, 4, 5, and 6 trains to the east on Broadway by City Hall; the PATH train at the Oculus; and the Fulton Street subway station just a short walk to the south.

108 Chambers Street should be completed sometime by the end of 2019.

  1. The closest subways are right in front of the building where there’s a subway entrance. LOL.

  2. It looks like a good amount of anti-bird spikes / deterrents will be needed for those external ledges.

  3. That building next door has got to be one of the worst in all of Manhattan. An architectural abomination.

  4. Someone out there can love you. Misanthropic people are miserable because they need love and aren’t receiving it. I hope you find your way.
