Permits have been filed for a seven-story apartment building at 1233 Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Located between Rochester Avenue and Buffalo Avenue, the interior lot is one block east of the Utica Avenue subway station, serviced by the 3, 4, and 5 trains. Bluejay Management is the developer for the project.
The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 44,914 square feet, with 39,034 square feet designated for residential space and 5,880 square feet for community facilities. The building will have 51 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 765 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and 27 enclosed parking spaces.
Richard Wainer of Studio Gallos is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
