Work on the reinforced concrete superstructure at 126 Madison Avenue, aka Madison House, is now topped out. The slender 805-foot-tall tower is now the tallest skyscraper in NoMad, standing 62 stories, and makes a clear impression on the Midtown skyline. The residential building is being designed by Handel Architects, while Fosun Group and JD Carlisle are responsible for the nearly 300,000-square-foot development.
A total of 199 condominiums will be created, and will provide uninterrupted views of the Empire State Building and Lower Manhattan. Each residence will span more than 1,600 square feet, and 7,500 square feet of retail space will be situated at street level, divided between two storefronts.
Window panels on all sides are rising rapidly.
The last section of the skyscraper currently being worked on is the sloping crown.
This should be the tallest structure immediately south of the Empire State Building for at least the next several years. The silhouette of its crown’s multiple slanted setbacks will further enhance its distinction in the neighborhood.
Completion of 126 Madison Avenue is expected in early 2020.

Thank you for the renderings for David
I thought this was 805 feet and 66 stories?
Fairly sure it was reduced!
