Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 1520 Broadway in Ocean Hill, Brooklyn. Located on the corner of Hancock Street and Broadway, the lot is steps away from the Halsey Street subway station, serviced by the J train. MacQuesten Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 85-foot-tall development will yield 115,836 square feet, with 88,230 square feet designated for residential space and 9,002 square feet for commercial use. The building will have 108 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 816 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar.
GLUCK+ is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
