Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 2840 West 19th Street in Coney Island, Brooklyn. Located between Neptune Avenue and Mermaid Avenue, the lot is four blocks west of the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue subway station, serviced by the D, F, N, and Q trains. Choi Fui Tze under the Choi Xing LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 60-foot-tall development will yield 11,610 square feet, with 10,164 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have nine residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,129 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 45-foot-long rear yard.
A Plus Design is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
