Permits have been filed for a nine-story mixed-use building at 153-10 88th Avenue in Jamaica, Queens. Located at the intersection of 153rd Street and 88th Avenue, the corner lot is one block from the Parsons Boulevard subway station, serviced by the E and F trains. Zara Realty Holding Corp under the Rufus King Park Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 95-foot-tall development will yield 218,015 square feet, with 150,696 square feet designated for residential space and 6,569 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 223 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 675 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and 176 enclosed parking spaces.
Ismael Leyva Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
