The 15th-tallest building on our year-end countdown is One Journal Square, a two-tower residential and retail complex at 10 Journal Square Plaza in the Journal Square section of Jersey CityNew Jersey. Designed by Woods Bagot and developed by Kushner Real Estate Group, the $1 billion project comprises two 64-story, 710-foot-tall skyscrapers with 1,723 units above a shared podium with 40,000 square feet of retail space and an enclosed parking garage. The development will also include a public plaza. ADJ Construction is the general contractor for the property, which is located directly next to the Journal Square PATH Station and bound by Sip Avenue to the south and Bergen Avenue to the west.

Recent photos show a great deal of excavation already completed since the groundbreaking ceremony on June 15. Several sections of temporary walls have been constructed to support the perimeter as crews continue to unearth the plot. Foundation work should begin over the coming winter months, followed by the rise of the reinforced concrete superstructure sometime in the spring.

Multi-story podium so nice to meet its beautiful that welcoming skyscrapers above, glass gather around from left to right and right to left. With woods embraced on the street level develop views to drop in, and the latest work on excavation from your stock is realistic: Thanks to Michael Young.

  2. Look at allllll those PTACs.

  3. Easily the worst iteration in the saga of this project. Earlier versions were much more promising.

Those remaining historical buildings are just wonderful.
This project is without any kind of soul, like the developer family building it. I wonder how many people would never consider financially contributing to these criminals.

  5. More crime money and cheap construction.

  6. Finally some more density around Journal Square, pretty soon there’ll be another cluster of tall buildings like downtown Jersey city!
