Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 31-16 21st Street in Astoria, Queens. Located between 31st Road and 31st Avenue, the lot is near the 30th Avenue subway station, serviced by the N train. Weitao Shi of Central Realty LIC LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 98-foot-tall development will yield 35,469 square feet, with 35,415 square feet designated for residential space and 54 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 52 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 681 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have 26 enclosed parking spaces and a 47-foot-long rear yard.

Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
