A new project broke ground last week on a long-vacant plot of land located at 6 Saw Mill River Road in Westchester County. The property, formerly owned by Gasho of Japan, was recently acquired by Michael Pasqualini, an entrepreneur in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Pasqualini broke ground yesterday on the 2.8-acre plot, and plans to transform the site into Le Setai, an upscale event venue.

Le Setai will feature a 13,000-square-foot venue with a Grand Ballroom, floor-to-ceiling windows, and landscaped gardens with natural waterfalls and a koi pond. The site will also include a glass walking bridge, a ceremony platform, a gazebo, and an outdoor Tiki Bar and Cabana. An existing 16th-century samurai farmhouse structure will remain, but is planned to undergo renovations.

Pasqualini aims to establish Le Setai as a premier destination for weddings and special events in the tri-state area. When complete, the venue will be able to accommodate 255 guests and provide parking for 100 cars. The project is expected to create over 50 jobs. It is slated to open in fall 2025.

Attendees of the groundbreaking ceremony included over 100 guests. At the event, Pasqualini remarked “It is our goal to transform this local, iconic property into the tri-state’s top wedding and special events destination. Whether an intimate cocktail reception, corporate event, or the wedding of your dreams, our stellar reputation for cuisine and service will make Le Setai an ideal location life has to offer.”
