Construction has topped out on 758-760 Metropolitan Avenue, a six-story mixed-use building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by New York Design Architects, LLP for Brooklyn Boyz Developers LLC, the 70-foot-tall structure will yield ten residential units with an average scope of 860 square feet, as well as 4,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and a 35-foot-long rear yard. The property will be split into two separate addresses and is situated on an interior lot between Humboldt Street to the east and Graham Avenue to the west.
Recent photographs show the reinforced concrete superstructure built to its pinnacle and awaiting the installation of its façade across the main northern elevation. Yellow insulation boards have already been installed on the flat western lot line wall.
No finalized renderings have been revealed for the development apart from the below elevation diagram, which depicts the building divided into two mirrored properties at the centerline. The bottom four stories feature a traditional tenement aesthetic with a thick cornice at the setback. The three levels above have a simpler design with doors leading out to a terrace space. The building culminates in tall central bulkhead that will likely be surrounded by a roof deck.
The property was formerly occupied by two three-story residential structures, as seen in the below Google Street View image from before their demolition.
The nearest subway from the property is the L train, located directly to the west at the Graham Avenue station.
758-760 Metropolitan Avenue’s anticipated completion date is slated for August 2025, as noted on site.

Shut up troll
It’s hard to believe just a few more apartments makes all of this worth it. I suppose though it’s gone from rent stabilized to $1,800 per bedroom.

The school building’s windows aren’t even this wide yet, and glancing at the adjacent building: Thanks to Michael Young.
So they’re going for the “tenement with a crappy addition” look intentionally? Weird choice.
