Permits have been filed for a five-story school building at 2224 East 23rd Street in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. Located between Avenue V and Avenue W, the lot for P.S. 206-K is closest to the Neck Road subway station, serviced by the Q train. Charleston Albert of NYC School Construction Authority is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 14,153 square feet for community facility space. The steel-based structure will have rooftop space and a 60-foot-long rear yard.
Velocity Architectural Services is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

Pretty sure when I saw this that this work is for an addition to the existing school and not for its demolition and replacement – a quick google confirmed it is, plus listed the square footage at 58k!
