Permits have been filed for an nine-story community facility building at 4911 19th Avenue in Mapleton, Brooklyn. Located near the intersection of 49th Road, the lot is near the 18th Avenue subway station, served by the F train. Shulem Schik is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 95-foot-tall development will yield 25,420 square feet, with 23,757 square feet designated for community facility space and 1,663 square feet for commercial space. Components include house of worship, lecture hall, community room, exhibition room, and several floors of business space. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar but no accessory parking.
Fischer Makooi Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
