Permits have been filed to expand a single-story structure into a four-story mixed-use building at 96 Moore Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between Graham Avenue and Humboldt Street, the lot is near the Flushing Avenue subway station, served by the J and M trains. Mendel Berkowitz is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 50-foot-tall development will yield 6,121 square feet, with 5,496 square feet designated for residential space and 625 square feet for commercial space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 687 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar, penthouse, and a 40-foot-long rear yard.

Nikolai Katz Architect is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the project calls for a vertical expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
