Permits have been filed for a four-story community facility building at 1566 61th Street in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. Located between 15th and 16th Avenues, the lot is near the New Utrecht Avenue subway station, served by the N train. Chaim Schwartz of High Property Builders Inc. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 43-foot-tall development will yield 19,200 square feet of community facility space. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar, basement, and three enclosed parking spaces.
Nikolai Katz Architecture is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
