Construction is nearing completion on the third and final phase of One Kingsland, a four-story townhome neighborhood at 405 Legend Drive in Sleepy Hollow, Westchester County. Designed and developed by Sun Homes, the development yields 90 for-sale residences ranging from 2,955 to 4,140 square feet across five model types. The project also includes a 2,400-square-foot resident clubhouse, a 75-foot outdoor lap pool, a fitness center, and a club room with indoor-outdoor entertaining space.
Townhomes are arranged in a low-rise configuration typical of the Edge-on-Hudson master plan, with massing that steps up to four stories and culminates in private rooftop terraces. The façades combine brick and stone with oversized Marvin windows and Juliet balconies on select units. Ground-floor entries are set back behind bluestone terraces, and each residence includes a direct-entry two-car garage. The Ainsley and Hendricks models, positioned to capture views of the Hudson River, Kingsland Point Park, and the 1883 Sleepy Hollow Lighthouse, feature broader footprints and expanded roof decks.
One Kingsland Townhomes’ amenity building will contain a catering kitchen, banquette dining, and a terrace patio with high-top tables. The adjoining fitness center spans 1,200 square feet, with open areas for yoga and stretching. The outdoor pool deck is landscaped with planters and shaded greenery, lined with chaise lounges and cabanas.
The site was previously occupied by a General Motors assembly plant that sat dormant for decades before master developers Biddle Real Estate Ventures and PCD Development began the Edge-on-Hudson redevelopment. Sun Homes acquired the One Kingsland parcel as the final townhome neighborhood within the 1,177-unit community, which also includes the completed Toll Brothers brownstones and loft condominiums, the Northlight and Emerson rental buildings, and The Daymark condominium tower.
