Permits have been filed for a ten-story mixed-use building at 2080 McDonald Avenue in Gravesend, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of Avenue S and McDonald Avenue, the through lot is also addressed as 101 Lake Street and is one block south of the Kings Highway subway station, served by the F train. Joel Landau of Emerald Developers is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 115-foot-tall development will yield 134,477 square feet, with 115,522 square feet designated for residential space and 18,955 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 99 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,166 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and 27 enclosed parking spaces.
Kao Hwa Lee Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in May for the single-story building on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
