Construction is about to top out on 56-12 Roosevelt Avenue, a six-story mixed-use residential building in Woodside, Queens. Designed by Xiaohong Zhao of Ameriland Brook LLC for Danny Chang of 5612 Management LLC, the 65-foot-tall structure will span 9,552 square feet and yield nine rental units with an average scope of 764 square feet. The project will also include 2,047 square feet of commercial space, 625 square feet of community facility space, and a 35-foot-long rear yard, according to permits filed last year. The property is located between 56th and 57th Streets.
Crews are tying the rebar for the sixth-story columns and walls and assembling the scaffolding that will support the roof. The bulkhead will extend up the western lot line wall. Façade installation has yet to begin.

The site was formerly occupied by a two-story residential building that was demolished last year. The developer purchased the property for $1.3 million in the spring of 2024.

The ground-up development is located between the elevated 52nd Street and 61st Street–Woodside subway stations, both served by the 7 train. The latter also offers access to the Woodside Long Island Rail Road station.
YIMBY expects 56-12 Roosevelt Avenue to complete construction sometime in the second half of next year.
