Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 152 Newton Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Located at McGuinness Boulevard, the lot is near the Nassau Avenue subway station, served by the G train. Rotem Cohen of OnPoint Development NYC LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 16,503 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 12 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,375 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, three enclosed parking spaces, and one open parking space.
Stephen Conte of StudioSC Architecture is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
