Excavation is set to begin at 144 First Street in Jersey City‘s Powerhouse Arts District, the site of a 12-story mixed-use building. Designed by Fogarty Finger Architecture and developed by EPIRE, the project will yield over 111,000 square feet with 84 apartments ranging from studios to three-bedroom units.

Following several years of development, EPIRE has revealed the final architectural renderings of 144 First Street in Jersey City. Located in the city’s Powerhouse Arts District, the 13-story building will contain a mix of residential and retail area.
EPIRE, a New York City-based real estate investment firm, has announced the acquisition of development rights to construct a new mixed-use property in Jersey City. Located at 161 Second Street within the historic Powerhouse Arts District, the through-block building will comprise 100,000 square feet including both residential and retail components.
